Short and plain: what we keep, why, and what we never do.

1. 1.We keep your account (name, email, country) and your books so the service works. Nothing else is required.
2. 2.Your manuscripts, sources and notes are never used to train AI models — not ours, not anyone's.
3. 3.AI requests go to model providers on servers in the EU. Confidential books are only processed in the EU, and confidential sources are never sent at all.
4. 4.We log what the AI was asked to do and what it cost, so you can see it and so limits work — not the content for any other purpose.
5. 5.Web research (only if you allow it) sends search words — never your manuscript — to open sources such as OpenAlex, Crossref and Wikipedia.
6. 6.No advertising trackers. One cookie keeps you signed in; others remember your language and light/dark choice.
7. 7.You can export everything at any time, and delete your account. Deleted books are removed for good after 30 days.
8. 8.The data controller is Chapner, Denmark. You can complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet).
