Your book, your way of working. You decide how much the AI does.
A workspace for novelists, non-fiction authors, researchers, teachers and journalists — from the first idea to a book that is checked, published and for sale.
Write it yourself, with inspiration
The AI asks, researches, outlines and gives feedback. It never writes your text — unless you allow it once.
Write together with the AI
It suggests wording and drafts the passages you point at. You accept, edit or reject each change.
Let the AI write your draft
From your brief to a full first draft — chapter by chapter, with a visible cost cap and your approval along the way.
The working mode is a real permission, enforced in every feature — not a note to the model. Change it any time; nothing you wrote is lost, and every word keeps a record of who wrote it.
Try it: open the lock and ask for help
A scripted demo — no AI is called. Why a wheel holds
A bicycle wheel does not stand on its spokes. It hangs from them. Each spoke carries about 100 kilograms of tension.
This is something that a lot of people find quite surprising when they first hear about it, and it is in fact the main reason why the wheel is so strong. A good wheel can carry 400 times its own weight.

One place, from idea to sale
Locked sections, a prompt line under the one you open, and suggestions you accept change by change.
Every claim gets a card. A source only counts when the passage that supports it is there.
Structure, a reader's view, repetition across the whole book, and what still blocks publication.
Find publishers and agents in your country, build the pitch, track submissions — with the law built in.
See what each copy earns you before you choose a route, and export files that stores accept.
Is it true? Chapner shows you — and says when it doesn't know.
Ask Chapner to check the facts in a section. Every number, name, date and quote becomes a card with a status. A card only turns green when a source passage that actually supports it is linked.
Change a sentence after it was checked, and the card says so. Change only a comma, and it doesn't. Retracted papers are flagged.
- Supported — A linked source passage supports it.
- Partly supported — Some support, but not all of it — or the passage isn't linked.
- Conflicting — A source says something else.
- Source unavailable — The source exists, but its text can't be read.
- Needs an expert — Sources can't settle it; a specialist should look.
- Check again — The sentence changed after it was checked.
- Not checked — Nobody has looked yet.
Publishers in your country
Every publisher and agent is verified by hand, with a source and a date on each fact. Chapner explains why one fits your book — and never invents a chance of being accepted.
The law, built in
Quoting, AI labelling, VAT, legal deposit, ISBN, consumer rules. The assistant answers only from a reviewed legal library with sources — and says plainly when your country is not covered yet.
Stores that accept your book
Some stores refuse books written mainly by AI; others want it disclosed. Chapner knows how much of your book is yours and tells you, channel by channel.
Your manuscript stays yours
- —Your text is never used to train AI models — ours or anyone else's.
- —The AI runs on servers in the EU. Confidential books never leave the EU.
- —Confidential sources get a code name and never reach a model, a search or an export.
- —Export everything, any time: Word, EPUB, PDF and the full history.
